i have the 2014 Overland with the new HIDs but I want my for lights to match my running lights. Any idea which ones I would get to match it exactly? Also, do i have to get an HID kit or can I just buy the bulb?

if you go with hids yes you need a kit there are some new led cree type bulbs coming out that some on other forums have used in the older grand cherokees 05-09

6000K Super White by HID Lights USA

this is what they have been using in the fogs of the last generation grand but actually both bulbs are the 9005
White 9005 9145 H10 80W High Power CREE LED Fog Driving Light Bulb Projector HB3 | eBay

I went with a kit from DDM tuning. I have the slim ballast 55W, 5000K with error code eliminator to stop the flicker. All for about $55...I believe the shipping and handling was $20. They match to the HID headlamps that I have. They are very bright and you can tell the cut-off line between the headlamps and the fog lamps. I went with the 55W ballast as I had a 35W in the past but I didnt think it was bright enough....I just installed them last night....so far overall I'm happy. I ordered from DDM in the past with no issues.

Welcome to the JG!! HID's are a lot better than LED's, especially in projectors. You need need a kit because each HID bulb needs a ballast. You'll notice a huge difference in running HID's in fogs also!

Are you just looking to color match your fog lights with your HID lights? Or did you want them to be functional as well.

The reason I ask is because, if you want to simply color match than you can get the 5000K H11 30W XenonDepot LED Fog Light Bulbs. However if you want them to be bright as well than I would go with a XenonDepot HID kit.
