Wash my new Jeep this morning and noticed cracked taillight. Any ideas.? Called the dealer for monday appt.

^agreed, to right of crack. Maybe a hit to garage door or ceiling when liftgate opened.

Probably got hit before you bought it and was just never noticed. In transit, at dealership, something like that.

bummer but at least it's just the light not body. Easy fix.

Went to the dealer today. They will replace the taillight under warranty:thumbsup:

About 3 weeks after I picked up my 2012 WK2, after washing it, I noticed that there was some moisture inside the r/s outer taillight. My dealer did the right thing and replaced it. No crack but it looked like it just wasn't sealed properly in one area. Like someone mentioned, better the light than the body having a dent in it.
