So the HID lenses on my 14 Summit started to have a frosty appearance inside directly infront of the projector lenses. The dealer confirmed it is not condensation and a non contact type temperature check showed 132 degrees when the lights were on. Has anyone else noticed these strange semi circular "burns" inside their lenses?

In my case both headlight assemblies were replaced under warranty. The dealer factory rep hasn't seen this before and is sending the defective units back for inspection.

I have this as well. I thought it was dust that was getting etched into the inside of the cover. Will be interesting to see if Jeep comes back with a TSB or extended warranty on these.

My 2016 has this as well, so I'm sure it's inherent to all models with HIDs. I had my driver headlamp assembly replaced last year due to non functional high beam shutter so it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to develop again.

I think you and other owners should file a claim on the NHTSA website.
