I want to order a 2014 Summit but can't find options for:

-skid plates
-rear entertainment system single
-rear entertainment system dual

Any help? Anyone know when full range of options would be on the pricing web site at jeep.com? I have a 1997 JGC V8 TSi with all options. Want my 2014 to have all options I have now plus some.

Thx...

Look at the 1st post of the Ordering thread, all prices and options are in there. Skid plates aren't an option as that really isn't for offroading, that is how they are marketing it. As for the rear DVD entertainment - late availability Rear DVD system - July 22, 2013

Thx SnoFire. Think I can order the OR1 and have it put on the Summit? Would there be any engineering issues preventing this that you know of? Disappointing about the rear DVD lateness. Guess I will have to wait until then.

Thx again

What you see above are the options you have with the Summit, there aren't anymore options to add. So to answer your question, there is no OR1 or OR2 for the Summit. I think you could get aftermarket skid plates but nothing from factory.

I was thinking to buy the OR1 parts and have the dealer install them. Don't know if they would fit though. By OR1 I just mean the skid plates.

I bought Mopar skid plates and had dealer install them on my Limited. I would think you could too on the Summit as it is just an optionned up Overland.

That is what I am hoping. It does not make sense to me to have a Jeep that does not have a complete off road package. I know the Summit is maybe not thought of for off-roading by Jeep but why can't I have it all if this is their most expensive model? Were you able to get plates for everything?
