I sprayed them while still on the car. I masked off the brakes with a kitchen trash bag. The overspray on the tires just pulls right off.Did you dip the lug nuts as well? How did the plasti-dip hold up on the wheel where the lug nuts rub?
Looks great and I plan to dip my OEM 20s before next winter.
You won't get "that look" unless you buy the SRT! Lol Caddy V's are sick and one of the few GM products I'd own.Plasti-dip is good. I'm going to do my overland rims in the spring, but not the lugs. I'm also taking the side chrome cherokee lettering off and putting the letters on. Should look a little better.
I came from an all black cts-v, so I'm trying to get back to that "look"
Quoted 100/wheel locally here in the chicagoland. 25 bucks for the dip was just to see if I wanted this forever. I think I do!You should all look into a local powder-coater. I have been quoted anywhere from $250-$400 for all 4 20" wheels.
Cheaper than new wheels and long term.
Also...black wheels with chrome lugs looks great! Did that on my friends 4runner.
Makes sense, looks great!Quoted 100/wheel locally here in the chicagoland. 25 bucks for the dip was just to see if I wanted this forever. I think I do!
Thats a good deal, will they be doing the mounting and dismounting of the tires too? That's another couple hundred bucks at a tire shop.Quoted 100/wheel locally here in the chicagoland. 25 bucks for the dip was just to see if I wanted this forever. I think I do!
