It is definitely an identified problem in one of the things that was listed in the software fixThanks Willx, I've been meaning to download the update but just have not got round to doing so, guess i have good reason now, will give it a go tomorrow.

That rebooted the system and I got the jeep logo and all was well. Did it at a stop light with the car running. I have a mid-September built '14 limited with the latest uconnect
Yes sir. First hint was the cellular remote start failing. My girlfriend and I were at the mall and it was raining and about 40 degrees in Denver. So I remote started with the key and that worked. We got out to the truck and hit the start button and the cluster came up but the nav screen didn't (although you could tell the backlight was on). Turning car off and on didn't help. So we left but I was getting pissed and tried the restart with those two buttons at the stop light and that fixed it.You are running 13.38.52 and your screen went blank??

My guess (being in IT for a living) is that uconnect doesn't shut down when the car does, it only goes to sleep. And like computers, sometimes it won't wake from sleep properly and it needs rebooted - which is what those two buttons do. It's been fine ever since. Cellular remote start was fine at the gym this morning.

Happened to me as well. Reboot also didn't work for me and dealer had to order new unit. Took all but an hour to replace with no issues. Been working great since.Hi Kegs/Willx I tried the reboot as you mentioned but did not work. In any case i took it to the dealer as i took the opportunity to have some minor things fixed and to my disappointment they could not update and get it going, new one on order to be replaced next week. It's not what i was hoping as I'm worried about what cosmetic damage they may do in the process, I'll just have to have a stern word with them before they do it. It's a shame as the unit had been working flawlessly with no glitches or hint of anything going wrong..........then all of a sudden, blank black screen, Willx is this something that has occurred on other rides? Yep, there is some bad hardware out there and they will replace it. Honestly it is no big deal, it is one of the easiest radio swaps out there.Hi Kegs/Willx
