I have noticed ever since it has started warming up and AC was needed that sometimes when the compressor kicks on it lets out what I describe as a high pitch supercharger whine for about a second and then is fine. At times also instead of the whine it does sort of a low groan which vibrates through the pedals, steering wheel, and door panel. It seems to be only when I'm at a stoplight and its pretty intermittent. Has anyone else had anything like this?

I have noticed the exact same thing and attributed it to the AC compressor because if I turn off the AC when it is happening the sound goes away.

Motor Mounts and Thermal Expansion valve.

MY12 did this, Could reproduce the vibration etc but just turning the A/C on n off.

Also had a Honk goose noise vibration noise in the dash from the Thermal Expansion valve.

Maxcare took care both.

Yes, had similar. New motor mounts took care of it (Thanks MaxCare).

Glad I saw this. I just got my 11 overland 5.7 back from being repaired from an accident and I'm noticing the exact same issue. I plan on taking it back to the shop to address this because it was not happening prior to the accident.
