I've just bought a 2005 Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD auto and the ABS and 4wd warning lights have come on whilst moving. This was after I had tried and failed to engage low ratio. The warnings also come on 'service 4wd system' and 'service electric brake system'. After stopping for fuel, it went off only to come on again later. Any advice please?

The ABS light and the service electric brake system are related. Go to an advance auto and have them do a check engine diagnostic (free). This will tell you which ABS sensor is bad, then go online and order it.

Just had this issue. Mine was the left rear ABS wheel speed sensor (cheap and easy fix). Do the key flick trick to get your DTC to tell you the code(s) and that will tell you which side of the vehicle is faulty. Unfortunately, unless you have a tuner, you'll have to guess whether it's the front or back though. Plenty of WK's run into this same issue...
