Yes, I have a 1999 GC under the recall.

Yes, I read Chrysler's White Paper and looked at the data and charts.

These vehicles were built to standards and common practice of the day. I think it's ridiculous that they are recalling 15-20 year old vehicles.

We all pay for this in new vehicle prices that are increased to pay for this and frivolous lawsuits.

Just my 2 cents.

FWIW, according the the USA today article the recall remedy does not need to be covered by the manufacturer if the vehicle is more than 10 years out from its original in service date. You might be out of luck for a free hitch.

Not sure that is true, They were doing Recalls on Fiero Engine fires still in 1997 and the last year that car was built was 88 (all of them still qualified)

Yeah, it was in the USA today, so not sure if it is 100% accurate... But I did literally stay in a holiday inn last night (and again tonight... )
