This morning driving to work in very cold weather (-30C) my '12 Overland shot a message that the Air Suspension needed servicing immediately, at the same time the intimating light on the console for height position was flashing, after a few more miles the light and message went away. After many miles throughout the morning the message returned periodically, but all this time the Jeep remained at the normal ride height.

After work I stopped for fuel and thought I would try the suspension to off road 1 but only the rear lifted and the error message returned then eventually went away. I cycled the button and eventually the screen said I was in normal ride height but that is not true because the rear is still raised.

I have since put the Jeep in my heated garage and have been letting it warm up after reading a TCB for reprogramming the air suspension if the Jeep is used in extreme cold conditions. It has been sitting a few hours inside and it is still not working, I also pulled the fuse just incase that cleared the memory.

Any ideas what it is, I have made an appointment with the dealer for next week.

2-20-15 its 0 in NJ and I just got the same warning on my Jeep. What was the final outcome of your fuse replacement. did it work or did the pump go due to the cold weather. I have the vehicle in a parking garage now, I hope it will reset on its on?
thanks

Woke up this morning to the air suspension needs immediate service message. The suspension seems to be at the full off road height. the buttons on the console don't work. it was sitting in a heated garage overnight but had been out in single digit temps here in Chicago recently. Have an appointment to take it in on Monday. 2014 Summit with 17,800 miles.

Any reason not to drive it until then? At the max ride height the ride is pretty stiff.

thanks

I found that the 40 amp fuse was blown on mine. My fuse box for my 2014 is laid out differently than the diagram from a prior post here. Replaced the fuse and cycled through the ride heights. That fixed it. Whew!

Thanks to all for posting on this issue. Started this mornings commute at -30C (-22F) symptoms showed up within a few minutes. Controller would not respond to height change requests but no problem with the ride noted. Got the service warning on the drive home. The ride seemed fine at normal ride height. After reading your comments I changed F5 located toward the firewall on the drivers side of the fuse box (40A). Solved the issue so far. The store didn't have the low profile version of the fuse but the higher profile one fits just fine.

This is my WK2s' third winter but the coldest so far. This seems to be an issue for some with extreme cold.

Thanks again for sharing your info.
