I did, in fact I received 3 of them. 2 for my summits and one for my srt. I def plan on bringing it in to get fixed/checked. I dont want to risk an issue. I have spent too much $$$$ on these cars. My biggest beef with all 3 is the radio/nav acting up. Srt doesnt have as many issues since it was ipdated last week.. the other two are a mess.

I didn't check my mail today but I will say ONE time the dash failed to boot up. The radio came on just fine but the 7" screen in the dash never came on and none of the needles moved. The tach was showing zero RPM and fuel was zero. No speed obviously since that is in the 7". But like I said its only done it once

Now that you mention it, my 7" failed to boot up once. Nothing was responding at all till I shut it off and turned it back on.

Got my notice in the mail today. I've only had the problem once, several months ago, so I'm not in a hurry to have the update done. I'll schedule it with my oil change.

Got mine today. I had the problem twice, but not since they replaced the PCM around 6 months ago. I think I'll wait until my oil change in February, unless it acts up again.

I have not had any problems but had the recall job done whilst my car was at dealer for minor warranty work, have not yet got the letter though.

Just got one for my 14 Limited but not yet for the SRT. Only problem I think I have is sometimes the backup camera on the SRT doesn't kick in. Not sure if thats part of it.

Well this is what I am going to say. Don't fix it unless it's broken. Reason why I say that is because my radio was working flawlessly and then I updated because the new update came out. Well not my radio sucks. It cutouts the media devices won't always hook up and there is nothing I can do about it until the new software update comes out. So unless you are having problems I would let it go like Scott said

Just had the warranty work done on mine, about 2 hours. All dash illumination went out the day after I received the notice in the mail. Didn't affect the driving but disturbing driving without tach, speedo or any of the other gauges.

Well, to be a pain in the rear correct, I got it last Saturday not today. :slapfight:

Is this the one where the speedo can go blank and/or other instrument clusters can behave in a manner decreed unacceptable by the safety nannies?

It would have 3 parts, one to tighten the alternator ground stud to 106 in/lb [which you may have already done], one to reprogram the instrument cluster, and one to reprogram the ABS module.

I'd never heard of a possible loss of ABS, although I did have the xmas tree cluster where the speedo goes blank twice in the first couple hundred miles but nothing since. [Here I thought the blank speedo was so you could honestly say "honest, officer, I had no idea how fast I was going--see?"]

The one reprogram does take a while, so I plan to just wait and schedule next oil change when the couple trained wizards on the WiTech are in and get it, plus the minor PITA MIL ones all flashed at the same time.

Hi Scott, I understand you are new to these forums, but if you use the search functions you may find this existing thread posted earlier today, which links to another existing thread.

:jump: Tsk tsk tsk.

How the [email protected]#[email protected]#$ do you add the "Say Thank You" for a post?

Please don't suggest a search unless you want a long off-topic rant about
the merits of search engines that refuse to cough up results for "Thank You" or "Says Thank You" or "Dammit, Thank You"
