Well, Milous' report shows that my Jeep was built on 3/13 and I was hoping that it would have shipped out already and I could take delivery next week. I just called Jeep to see if they could give me some more information and she was actually very nice and very helpful. Unfortunately, she told me "Congratulations, your Jeep was selected for a vigorous 100% quality inspection." I guess it's a good thing, but means that it won't be here anytime soon. She said it would ship out on the 30th, so hopefully I can have it by the week of the 8th...

All I can say is if my wife's ends up the same way they will be looking for another buyer for it... I hate to say it but I have already lost faith in getting it before the end of the month anyways.

I dunno if that's a good thing or bad thing. Good cuz they will make sure there are no flaws with your truck but what kind of testing will they do? Will it just be a visual inspection or a road test. Lets see what happens when we hit a speed bump going 40mph? Yup, suspension works. Hopefully it will just be visual. Good luck.

I asked her if the testing included "Beating the crap out of it" and she chuckled and said that's not the type of testing they are doing. I think it's more visual inspection of everything like making sure all the gizmos work, Quadra-Lift functions properly, etc.

They are the manufacture and they pay the warranty claims so they aren't going to do anything to tear it up. I'm not so much worried about what they do to it, I just want it in my garage soon. My wife's Charger was sold yesterday, financing is all approved, and down payment is in the bank. All I'm waiting on is for the Jeep to be delivered...

I read in a prior post that there should not be much mileage used (maybe 50 miles +/-) as part of the testing.

Doesn't the system show them which is a regular dealer order and which is an order by a customer? You'd think they'd choose vehicles that don't have a customer on the other end waiting for it.

The same could be said for the opposite. They may want to make sure sold orders are perfect.

I'm impatiently waiting for mine to go to build, but I have to admit, if the pros from Dover want to give it a final once over, that would be fine with me.
