Good morning from St George in Queensland Australia where we have been for 8 days and Jeep Roadside Assist has booked us in for a further 8 days due to Jeep Grand Cherokee has been u/s with multiple failures:
1. Stability control u/s
2. Abs u/s
3. 4WD SERV
4. Brake assist needs service
5. General warning light
It is 400kms away and has been returned once but same faults appeared just as tow vehicle was still within sight.
Last report
Loose earth wire located in rear of vehicle and repaired
Abs now found to be at fault and replacement parts will take 1 week to arrive at Toowoomba (400kms from us)
Yes we will "throw another shrimp on the barbie"
Has anyone else any experience of this ?
Vehicle has about 9600kms and has just completed 1st 10,000kms service early due to intention to proceed inland towing an off road caravan
Driver 78 year old retired international aviator (Bo 747s etc)
U/s means unserviceable
