Have used them in past and shipping was reasonably priced with quick delivery. Just looking at the site now - I see that the dog carrier is priced at US$133.40
Just tried to order and got this message

Locky,

The clips are on the side to the front of the car. It's got it's own little space for it to slide in one on each side of the front lip with the springy bit facing the front a couple of can off the centre of the dome. There a little metal catch on the clip and that's supposed to grab the plastic.

Good luck and if you can't find it I'll grab a pic when I get home

I'll grab some photos shortly, but you are sliding the rear part in first (2 hooks) and then pushing the front up into the lining right?

OK, here are the pics. Warning they are huge pics!

The bottom of the pic is to the back of the car. The 2 black plastic protrusions hook into the lining first, and then the front gets pushed up into the lining

The metal bits gets pushed into the front bits

Here is how the metal bits sit on the front of it

Here is the side view

Good luck!

Good on you Locky.

You will learn more about your Cherokee here, or any other model Jeep, than what any Stealership will tell you.

Welcome to the Jeep Family and enjoy your time at JeepGarage. There are some very good people here who are only too willing to help other Jeep owners

so
something interesting happened

i took a phone call from one of the salesman i was dealing with my jeep

firstly i have to tell you i did the feedback email and gave the dealership a zero the question was how likely am i to recommend this dealership to my friend and honestly i wouldn't recommend it to them id tell them to go to Sydney.
the car wasn't ready for me i knew more about the car than the salesman and they were quite frankly rude.

so i took this call from one of the salesman and i thought he was ringing to apologize for the car not being ready as on the day everyone blamed this guy

BUT boy was i wrong for the next 5 minutes he essentially abused me he wanted to know why i gave them a zero and i stayed calm and told him why, i work in customer service so i gave the feedback as feedback is generally very helpful, he threw they whole they moved heaven and earth to get me the car, he called me and asshole. I honestly felt very uncomfortable and it was not professional at all.

my biggest concern now is that i am now afraid to take the car in there to get serviced as i think he might do something he actually came out of there service center into there sales center and i am worried he might still be friends with someone there.

what to do........

I would be ringing the dealer principle and giving him some feedback.

WOW  That is absolutely disgraceful

Very sorry to hear that you had to go through that Locky.

As Hutch said, you gotta call the Dealer Principle direct.

Man!, that's unbelievable....

The dealer principal is the guy who owns that particular dealership.

ETA: PM'ed you back.

Getting poor results on those post sale surveys are extremely important to the dealership and the salesman from what I have been told before. They can have financial implications for both - and if someone missed out on bonuses they can get quite upset !

Re: Australian MY15 KL Cherokee thread

Just joined and a bit unsure about how to post so lets see what happens.
I have a new MY15 Cherokee Limited 2L Turbo Diesel 4x4 with low range. Whilst car is primarily for on road wanted to be able to drive ahead on easy/medium 4WD tracks - you know how the ad goes "don't hold back!".
Well found out vehicle has no front or rear recovery points and can't even join a local jeep club without these. Spoke to Jeep and they simply reply "the car doesn't have these", er doh! I already know this
any thoughts out there?
