Having a hard time deciding between white or silver for my 2014 Grand Cherokee. I think both look great, white one I can walk out the door tomorrow, silver one may take a couple weeks. Looking for other opinions other than my wife's.

I ordered a Billet Silver on 6/13 and Dealer 7/20 it is supposed to come off the line on 7/14 I am glad I waited the 6 weeks so Jeep and UConnect to get the glitches out.
My last Silver jeep lasted 12 years and the paint held up and did not show dirt....and BTY.....I live down a dirt and rock road.
White is cool but shows dirt.

Your like minded owners can be found here. We're all bitter because you guys and gals can actually buy your Jeeps.
Having said that, I would say Billet if you're going Laredo, White on Limited and above.

......new thread from a newbee and I was expressing my 2cents worth. The Billit silver is somewhat different from past Lorado's.
Color is just a matter of choice. I love black but after paying for the GC, I can't afford daily car washes and well water leaves calcium haze.

+1! I sold a silver pickup that I'd had for 7 years before I got my '14 Limited; I just wanted a different, light color that wouldn't show dirt and dust - I've been very pleased with white! I'm also pleased with the paint job on mine - I've clayed it once and washed it numerous times; the paint job is flawless and very nice. This white Jeep shows less dirt and dust than my silver pickup did.Go for the white, not that Iam biased or anything

White all the way, easiest to maintain and always looks great. Stays cool during the summer, even with black interior. Provides natural camo during the winter, or if you happen to live in the Hoth system.

This is the 2014 Cherokee section. You won't be walking out the door with a 2014 Cherokee, because they are not yet at Dealers. You should be posting in the "Grand Cherokee" section. :slapfight:
This cross confusion of GC and C is probably going to happen a lot. Color wise... I vote Billet Silver. Silver for durability and ease of cleaning but also it is unique. I have a 08 white JKU, I like it but it require cleaning ... but not as bad a black or other really dark colors.
Either way GC or C, White or Billet... have fun out there.
Car washes with the white last longer because the dust doesnt show but it's good also because if you get any road oil or anything else on it you can see it and remove it easier and quickly.

I know, wrong forum section, but here's my vote: silver on Laredo or Limited, white on Overland or Summit. Actually my favorite is Granite (there's a Summit outside in this color right now and it's gorgeous), but that wasn't a choice! Good luck picking!
I guess in the months until the Cherokee actually arrives, we should post Cherokee-specific questions over in the GC section.
