None of the big paint vendors sell crap.

clearcoating a full panel may or may not be an awesome idea; a good body tech knows what s/he can do and what the right answer is.

Coal Creek Collision could use DuPont or Sherwin Williams (they use to use DuPont exclusively) but chooses to use BASF and pay $80-100K more per year for paint. They said they save more than that amount with ZERO warranty and redo costs! Plus these people have two $300K spray booths and sonar frame alignment. Go check out some really GOOD shops before you blab about your opinions.
I did, actually. Just had almost $9k in repairs done to my '07 after being rear-ended and sandwiched. Did a lot of research before choosing the shop. The shop has the fancy spray booths and the laser measuring system and blahbityblah.

The shop has a very good reputation in the local area. They did an awesome job. They prefer Spies-Hecker paint.
