Hi, We pick up our new GC Overland this week, we've swapped the wheels to the 18" off the Laredo, bought the tow pack and now I need to get a brake controller fitted. We are based in Victoria, Aust.
Can someone advise on the best place to fit and the brand that I should consider using.

Hi Aussie Jeep, you will find that a lot of the forum members are using the tekonsha P3 fitted into the cubby hole just above the media readers. I had mine installed by a company called TOSSA in Pakenham cost about $280.00, and the tekonsha was bought off ebay from an auto electrical place in Bairnsdale for approx $160.00 delivered within two days. There is also a dedicated Aussie towing thread.

If you want someone to talk to at TOSSA ask for Paul, he organised everything for me. Took approx 3-4 hours to do the install, but mine was the the first My 14 that they had fitted a controller to.
