Today I put my 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3L CRD in my shop to install a brake controller. It came with 7 pin connector wiring but no brake controller. I did locate the green wire going back to the connector & spliced into it. I also removed the brake light switch & paralleled the light feed off it. Got my 12V feed from under the hood. My problem now is the jeep starts right up like normal but wont shift out of park. Its like I'm not stepping on the brake peddle. Could I have knocked a wire off? I am stumped.

Solved. I had inadvertently pushed the plunger in on the brake light switch. I unsnapped the tyrap holder so I could bring the wiring bundle out more to see the switch. I pulled the the plunger all the way out again & remounted the light switch. All is good again. At least with the console out the jeep got a good cleaning.
