Received my door handles to replace the chrome ones on my GC. Will post additional pics once installed. Still debating on if I want to tackle this or take to dealership. Also included part numbers for the handles. Special thanks to Justforjeeps.com for helping with the order!

You do not say and I do not see it anywhere on your profile but the picture of your GC is of a 2014 and the handles you bought are for a 2013. I tried that whith my dealer and of course they said 2013 handles would not match the 2014. They could get me the 2014 but the cost was horrendous, then again I hate dealers and their tactics. Hope they fit for you I too am looking forward to further posts on this from you. Thanks.

I doubt Jeep changed door handles between 2013 and 2014...honestly not much changed. My dealership gave me those part numbers and I confirmed them with 2013 part numbers from chryslerfactoryparts.com. Hopefully I don't have any issues but will definitely report on here if I do so everyone is aware. More to come lol...

That is cool that you at least seem to be working with an honest dealer, please do let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for the post, the part numbers are helpful. I used those part numbers and switched the "AXR" in your part numbers with an applicable paint code (mine is GW7 - bright white) and was able to find bright white handles - the part numbers match the Durango door handle part numbers as well.

Well I have 3 handles installed, taking a break before number 4. Handles fit and work perfectly but I will say install is more indepth than I expected. After removing door panel you also have to remove inner panel and window (for front) and hold window up out of way on rear. I have the drivers side door left and will try and take pics of process. I think the hardest part was putting the door panel back on lol...the panel clips float a little bit so lining them all up was a pain. Needless to say I need to replace a few haha. Sorry for crappy pics it was late when I finished up last night. First door took me about 2 hrs but that was because process was new and had to figure things out, especially window removel. Now I can do a door in about 45 mins. If you have big hands portions of the process may be difficult...have your girlffiend standing by to help lol. Anyway, off to do last door more to follow....

Lol yeah it is alittle bit much just for handles but you do get good after the first one lol.
I think the price for the handles alone is not that bad, I was quote $225-300 per handle plus labor from my dealership and it would have been a total of $1400+.

I would definately grab them for what you paid but it seems the labor is a bit much with having to remove the window and all.

Thanks for your post on this.

It is unfortunate that dealerships are quoting such crazy prices...justforjeeps will hook you up for a great price! As for labor...I am by no means a great mechanic so if I can do it anyone can. The first one is time consuming but once you get the steps down you'll roll through the others, just turn on some music and put in work lol. Until I get the steps posted I will definitely assist anyone however I can even via text if needed.

Jesus that is a lot. When I was looking up prices for bright white handles there is no way the LIST price for all 4 totaled more than $450.
Exactly...no more than $400 for all 4 and that is still a high qoute! A dealership would definitely get someone on install though...I could see them dragging each door out to ridiculous amounts of time.
