I've been lurking a while and finally have my '14 Billet Silver Overland ordered, so I'm trying to do my homework on how to best protect the car once I get it. I have three large dogs that frequently travel with me, so I am interested in any reviews or personal experience y'all may have with cargo liners.

I have seen some suggestions for the Canvasback stuff, but it looks very thin. If any of you have it, is it actually waterproof, and does it stay put? My mongrels are surprisingly well behaved, but they have been known to find a good mud hole on occasion. I definitely can't fit three large crates in the back of the GC.

Does anyone have any alternatives to they Canvasback line that they would recommend? I'm not looking for a rubber liner because most are concave to a degree and aren't great for times when the rear seats are down.

Weather Tech liners catch liquids and give dogs some traction in the back. Without one, they can scratch up the cargo area carpet, especially when off roading or driving a curvy road. They are rubber I believe though, so maybe not what you're looking for.

I love the Mopar ones in my Jeep. It does a good job of holding his hair there and it is heavy and does not slide around. They work well for my dog although he prefers the rear seat but with our 2yr old's car seat, he keeps whacking his tail on the daughters face.

On longer drivers, I put his bed in back and he is comfy sleeping there.

Thanks for the input! Thankfully my dogs have nubs rather than tails, so that's not too big of a concern. Heavy and durable sounds good.

We have the Weathertech floor and cargo mats and 2 50/60 pound bulldogs. It is rubber but it doesn't move and they can still grip it. Plus when the liner gets really dirty, we just take it out and hose it off. However, as you posted they are concave and when the rear seat is down there will be a lip. Maybe you could just put a large blanket to cover the seat back where the liner ends?

we have the Husky liner ones . They are a tab bit cheaper then the weather tech and do a great job .

We have two 100+ lb mastiffs who are in the truck on an almost daily basis and we have been using a large moving blanket for the past few years which does a fairly decent job, though it's not really waterproof and you kind of have to rig it to stay put.

My main problem with them is they've totally destroyed the vinyl on the back doors just at the top from digging their claws into when trying to 'protect' the car from all the criminals/evil aliens/etc outside.
