Im in the process of having my grill and mirror caps color matched and was thinking of having the chrome strips color matched as well, however i also like the look of the Grand Cherokee lettering without the chrome strips. what do you guys think i should do? where do i find the Grand Cherokee lettering if i decide to remove the chrome strips? Thank:thumbsup:

Lettering or keep the chrome strips. The chrome side strips look good with the chrome handles, chrome around the windows, and chrome roof rails, and you have polished wheels too.

I'd say to go with the lettering...I'm considering removing my side strips and do the lettering.

Go with the lettering. Once the chrome strips are gone you'll see the difference, gives your ride a much cleaner look. You can purchase the letters at justforjeeps.com.

I'm going to have to go against the grain on this one...remove the strips and leave it bare. For me in the rainy NW, the areas between the lettering get grimy and are a pain to clean. I'm going to remove the lettering when it warms up a bit.

I will also be having my window trim and door handles wrapped in gloss black so the lettering will look strange as the only chrome left on the jeep.

I don't have photoshop, but I used paint to make make your mirrors and chrome strips black.
