Hi

The clock in my 2014 GC Laredo keeps resetting everytime I start my Jeep. I know it's Leap day but come on!! Anyone have any thoughts as to why it keeps happening? I start it put the correct time in shut off engine ..restart and bam back to 12:00...anyone?? Thanks!!

I'm guessing it's because today doesn't actually exist ha! It's a leap year so Feb 29th probably isn't programmed in the computer.

I bet it starts working just fine tomorrow. As long as I only have to put up with it for 1 day every 4 years...I'm ok with it.

Same issue here. Started the car at 7:42am, clock was 12:00. It didn't recognize the USB stick that it's been playing for weeks either. I had to pull it out and plug it back in. Literally three minutes later the time changed to 3:45. I didn't reset anything just to see if this resolves itself. When I checked the date it was Feb 28 2012... Before the car was made, but also a leap year(??) Curious to see what happens this morning. This thread is the only thing I've found online about this!

Started up this morning at 6:05am.. time read 10:30 which makes no sense at all. Date is now showing 1/1/2012, I didn't check the time zone. Left it alone all the way to work but it didn't change. I'm going to manually reset it at lunch and see how it goes.

Got in the car this morning and the clock showed 3:22 (my time was 7:22).

Went into the settings and selected "Central Time" which is my time zone and the clock correctly adjusted to 7:22. I didn't think to check the date, but looking at the past posts I probably should. I don't want to be living in the past or anything ha!

Give that a try and you should be good. I'm pretty sure it was due to the Leap Day.

Maybe your Flux Capacitor needs a good jolt. ;)

My Overland isn't having this problem, but my clock is set to sync with GPS. Are all the problem clocks in Laredos without nav? Also, my Overland doesn't show the date.

My 2015 Altitude is doing something similar, on my way to work, the clock froze at 7:44am on Monday, and 7:30am today. I also got an error message on the screen (minutes later) saying "9-1-1 Vehicle Phone Requires Service". I reset the radio yesterday but it came back today. I unregistered my truck from Uconnect today, reset the radio, and hopefully it won't happen again.

Same issue here, also just had software bumped because I found a TSB for the radio. 2/29 AM time was reset. I set the clock and it was fine all day. Then 3/1 AM it was back to 12:00 and date was Jan,1,2012. At this point I did not reset it because I wanted to see if left along would it roll over or would it reset again this morning 3/2. It was not reset this morning, so on the way to work I entered the correct time. We'll see what it says tomorrow morning. Seems like a leap year date change issue. I hope that's it anyway.
