I have some strange corrosion on my 2012 summit wheels (see pictures). Anyone have any idea what it is? Think it is a warranty issue?

In short water collects in there and rusts the hub.

I plan to notch my little plastic caps so it drains.

That is surprising. Even with our salted roads during winter here I haven't noticed that on my 3 year old GC.

2005+ LX owners used to have the dames exact problem. My 05 Magnum R/T had the same issue. I can't believe they have not fixed it by no SMH

Mine goes to the dealer on Tuesday 6/17. I'll update with their resolution.
