Hey guys, just wanted to share a few pics of the 2013 Grand Cherokee we are building for the SEMA show this year. We just started doing mods to it, and will be done with it in a few months. But for now here are some photos of what has been done to it thus far.

Doesn't look like the WK2 keeps four tires firmly planted very well when the terrain gets uneven.

I've just installed 22 in wheels and seriously considering an airbag suspension install to lower while on 22s and lift to be able to fit some monsters like these during the colder months. But BEAUTIFUL ride.

We are a manufacturer of high end audio equipment, test equipment, and installer tools. We are working on the audio system install right now, should be finished in about a month. Pics of our stuff in the interior to follow.

It looks like the OP is long gone unfortunately to answer any more questions though. I did see this same thread posted on another Jeep website and some people were giving him a hard time about: why put 20's on an offroad car and that makes no sense and why would you do that and I don't get it and it's just an offroad posing mall cruiser, and that lift kit is bad and why didn't you install 18's, and one wheel is in the air it's no good, etc, etc...

Well I don't care what the purist naysayers have to say I think it looks baddass and who cares if you don't offroad with it every weekend. Or any weekend. Besides then aren't the guys with fully decked out offroad rigs driving on public streets aren't they just being on road poseurs driving trucks clearly not ideally suited for use on streets and highways and trying to do what street cars are better designed for??

I've been thinking of the RRO lift kit just to put on big tires like this; only thing is I put Brembos on my diesel Limited so I have to determine if I would have clearance with big tires because I have to use the SRT reps (for front caliper clearance) with different offset than this truck is with the +18 offset. But I think a lifted diesel with Brembos and big crazy tires would look pretty cool. I can see the post responses now if I did it: why did you put Brembos on that, that makes no sense, why would you waste that money, you just drive to malls, nobody needs Brembos and you don't drive on racetracks and they don't go with big tires and your truck is ridiculous.....And maybe I'll intentionally never take it off road just to piss off the condescending wheeling purists I'll just keep posting pics of it parked in front of the mall:lol:

First pic I've seen of a WK2 with a 20x9 ET18 wheel on it. Looks tits for sure! Tried that size with 275/55-20s on my limited and it didn't work out without a lift. So the leveling kit will go on shortly.

As for the naysayers and the mall crawling comments, my Grandy well likely never see a trail any serious off road use. Why would I do that when I have a dedicated rig sitting the driveway next to it? I just happen to like the performance of an AT tire and it looks great. The Grand was never meant to be a serious trail rig anyway. Some light off road of back country exploration but really nothing more. As such, I will keep mind looking nice and still enjoy it. When someone else starts making the monthly notes on it, then their opinion might count. Until then, piss off.
