Hey all. New to the forum. I have a 2000 WJ that I just installed the 20" SRT-8 rims. And now have a terrible death wobble when I hit bumps over 60km/hr. Anybody else run into this with the bigger wheels? I didn't have wobble with my factory wheels

could be a couple things. not balanced properly, rim is bent, or sometimes the wheels need a hubcentric ring to center the wheel as its being bolted on. check to see if that's what's needed. The tire shop should have said something if they were having trouble balancing it, so I would lean toward the hubcentric ring.

Bought the rims and tires used. They are genuine mopar SRT-8 rims from a 2008 Grand Cherokee. Was told that the bolt pattern and hub are the same. Balance is good.

Also I should mention that driving down the road at 60 or 80k is just fine and dandy! Only when I hit a bump does it wobble. Yes I'm from Canada lol! I talk km/hr

Check bushings and steering stabilizer. When I had death wobble, it was both of those going bad.

Balanced all four wheels. Added some weights to them. Checked over front end and nothing is really jumping out at me. :(
