Hi everybody :D

So I took off for lunch today to run some errands and someone in the office emailed me to tell me that they noticed my passenger's side brake light is MUCH dimmer than the normally operating driver's side brake light. If we eliminate the bulb as being the problem, what's the next step? Grounds? Socket? Anyone know where that circuit is grounded to?

Gracias

First thing bro is Scotchbrite the contact rings in the housing and also the contacts on the socket itself.I'm actually surprised you made it this long with no issues. The contact ring/contacts usually cures things but if not check the housing to body harness plug next for water entry. Grease everything up good when done. Good luck bro and welcome to the upper east side.:D

Thanks brostache....I pulled the housing and the lamp socket. The contacts looked BRAND NEW, nice and shiny, no green shmegma. So I went ahead and pried the contacts out a little, reinstalled and everything appears to be 100%. Of course when I got home and looked myself, the lights were working like they should, so I don't know if this corrected it for sure or not, but it's one more thing I can rule out. Only time will tell.
