So this past fall I had my roof replaced from hail damage (a bi-yearly event here in central IN.) And have a couple roles of ice and water shield left over. This stuff is a thick layer of butyl rubber that is stickier than boogers on one side.
Anyways, I had the bright idea of stripping out the back of the WK and door panels and laying this material in a double layer everywhere I could. I ended up using about half a role (maybe 15-20lbs worth?) This stuff worked great! I had dynomat in my old WJ, and while this stuff isnt quite dynomat... It was laying around my garage unused, and cost me nothing. Ill take that
