As per the title, when I hit the de-mist button for the back window, the door mirrors should also de-mist/frost.
One of mine isnt. There can only be a simple electrical heater element attached to the glass. I hope this isnt a throw away and replacement solution, that would be a little expensive I imagine, are there any usual problems I can look at first ?

I would check everything else out first like the fuses so you can rule everything out

to replace entire mirror assembly runs about 140 plus tax from dealer

I've see a couple where the heating element goes bad, then the mirror itself start to turn gray ish

I lost one of my mirrors side swiping a pole on ice. the heated mirror only cost $40 on rockauto.com and I was able to install it in 30-45 minutes myself.

Dude seriously takes 5 mins to install a mirror weather its the driver or passenger. Its 3 bolts. Simply.

I had a quick look on e-bay, sellers seem to be offering the heated Glass only for about £20 ($30). Lot cheaper than I thought

I had a Porsche 944 a few years ago and the glass only cost me £65 ($100 ?) !

Still miss that car tho..........
