There seems to be a bit of a confusion over the part number of the oil filter for the 2014 diesel.

Is it 68191349AA or 68109834AA?

THIS filter works with both the 2014+3.0L EcoDiesel and 2014+3.6L Pentastar V6.

68191349AA fits both ERB 3.6L VVT gas engine and EHD 3.0L VVT gas engine (not for NAFTA markets).
68109834AA fits EXT 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine.
68191349AA will not fit in 3.0L V6 turbo diesel oil filter housing.

I retract my statement.

Problem is, to us, it's a 2.9L...

So I'm gonna keep calling it a 2.9L...

I wish Chrysler would have called it a 2.9 as well, it has created a lot of confusion out there!
That's the problem.

They DO.

But not in public...

Thanks everyone for the clarification. Um I wonder what makes the diesel oil filter so special it is like 7 times the price compared to the petrol one.

Does anyone know if Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 meets the Fiat 9.55535-S3 requirement? It meets CMS MS-11106 and ACEA C3 but I can't find any info on the Fiat spec on Mobil's website. Sent Mobil and email but who knows if/when I'll hear back from them.

The only oil other than from the dealer that meets the standard is Pennzoil Ultra L Euro 5W30 but that is much harder to get than the Mobil.

Another supplier of our diesel oil filter
Mopar Repair Parts PN#: 68109834AA - FILTER-ENGINE OIL
28.75 each.

I would like to see if we can get a group buy on these filters. This is way out of wack as to what they should cost. This might be a 12-15 buck filter in quanity.

What do you guys think? I was thinking if we can locate a major MOPAR supplier we can approach them and see would do that if we bought a sufficient quanity.

Not sure what the group buy rules are on this forum but it is an idea...

So what about this filter. Mopar # 68229402AA is cross references to a MANN HU 7018Z.

According to some mopar brand parts web sites it's a direct fit for the 14,15 and 16 Eco Diesels. It even fits some C300 which I would bet are Euro cars with Diesels as well.

See the attached PIC.
