Over the last week, I have seen some reports claiming that Fiat is planning to kill off the Dodge brand. First of all, is there anybody that can confirm or deny this (Milous, Scott, Marlon, Dev)? Secondly, what are your thoughts on this? Personally, Dodge goes a long way back and has a lot of heritage, and I think it would be a shame to kill it off. In my opinion, they are the only brand that still produces cars with a true "muscle car" feel (with the Charger and Challenger). Hopefully I will be getting either Charger or Challenger in SRT trim (waiting for the Hellcat) within the next couple of years (as a companion to my Jeep).
Only Dodge related "killing off" I've heard off is the Durango getting "deleted" in place of Wagoneer. Isn't Dodge the only truck/pickup line that CJD offers? Hard to imagine a "Big 3" with no pickup trucks

They already separated the RAM brand at the Dodge dealer......
Thanks-I realized afterwards...and that I should be on here too early or too late in the day-mind doesn't work. It would be interesting how Fiat would handle the "liquidation" of the brand. I mean, NJ troopers ride around in their Chargers here. Are they willing to give Ford the State Police business back? Either way, much as I'd love to see Alfas and Fiats around(again) I hope it's not to replace Dodge.
