Someone said something similar about Pontiac a while back.... Not that I think this is the same. Dodge should be here for a while. The speculation comes because the largest brand recognition came from the Dodge Ram which of course is not just RAM.

There was an article yesterday that talked about Ford and GM looking to be in much better shape than Chrysler. They didn't say that Chrysler was planning to dump Dodge. But they did say that if the company had to consolidate brands, the Chrysler name would be the one to survive, just because it is the name of the company.

Will Dodge disappear. I have no idea, but I learned a long time ago, "Never say Never".

I work in a few GM stores, from the ground things seem way less stable with GM, IMHO.
