Is it possible to wire aftermarket fog lights {PIAA 2100} into the existing factory fog light wiring harness so they are controlled by the original factory switch for the existing fog lights? Is there enough voltage etc. to run them at the same time as the original ones without any issues.

I've installed fog/driving lights as the instructions state many times before but thought this might be easier and more practical if possible.

The voltage is not the problem, but the total current draw could be. The existing wiring was planned for the standard fog lights with some reserve. So now it all will depend on how much the total current draw will be. Too much current through a too thin wire will heat up the wire and could melt the insulation or even melt the whole wire. The fuse, which is in the circuit to protect the wiring for too high currents, will melt before the wiring gets damaged. For that reason you should never change a fuse with a higher amp.
You could eventually use a separate wiring for the new fogs with a relay, which will be switched by the old fog lights power.

Do what frango said. Use the OEM power wire as a signal wire to a relay setup harness for the piaas

I ran 55W lights to my fogs and they are just below the maximum draw. One tiny hiccup in the power and I'll end up replacing a fuse for sure. If I did it again, I would just run the relay
