For those with the Indigo Blue/Brown Interior, how do you like it?

Was at dealer this past weekend as they finally got 2014 Overlands with the Vesuvio Indigo/Brown interior and wanted to view it in person as I've ordered it based on web pics.
Just my opinion, but based on personal cabin taste, my location, and exterior color combo, it confirmed my choice and even looked better up close.

I ordered an indigo interior without seeing it based on the official Jeep pictures and I got nervous about everyone's comments that the blue was very BLUE. A lot of the pictures on here make it look very blue as well.
A dealer near me finally got one in stock so I went to check it out.
After seeing it in person, I'm 500x more excited to get mine. It's nice and dark. It was in a garage when i got there, and I thought it was black. Pulled it out of the garage and you saw the blue.
Yeah...in direct sunlight, which there wasnt at the time, I'm sure the door panels will be a little overwhelmingly blue...but how often are you staring at your open door? You can only see 1/3 of your door when you're in the vehicle anyway.
I've had a black interior in every car I've ever had. With the saddle interior no longer available, I was very happy to see this combination.
It looked a million times better in person than any of the cell phone pictures posted on here. It was very similar to the Jeep official photo.

I searched the southeastern US and could only find two black GC"s with this interior. I don't know if the dealers aren't ordering them or if Jeep is not making them ? When I called the dealership to ask if it was available, the salesman said "blue interior ?", as if it was not an existing interior color option.
Guess it is not a popular option.
It is beautiful, as the blue interior really is set off by the black vehicle, and the fit and finish of the interior is first rate even next to a Mercedes Benz CL 550.
It has a hemi, which adds to the fun factor.

The lower door panels and kick plates do show scuff marks more than the grey interiors I've had. But overall I'm very happy with it.
When sitting in the car the dash doesn't usually look very brown. Probably because of the tint in the windshield. When you open a front door on a sunny day is when the colors hit you ... in a good way for me. :thumbsup:

Can u post some pics? I want black exterior and like indigo but think the two would contrast horribly...
I will try, but honestly the pics won't do it justice. It looks so much better "in person" than the dealer and Jeep site pictures. So far everyone who has seen it has remarked very favorably. Interior almost seems black until you are in the light, and even then the colors are subtle. A friend (who owns a local car dealership) said it reminded him of his black Range Rover that has dark blue seats with white piping and no brown headliner or dash. I could not be more pleased, but I bet if Jeep doesn't sell many it will be a one model year only deal. Kinda surprised that they dropped the New Saddle for 2014 as I see lots of them.
I'm waiting on our local dealer to get one in, but so far they've only ordered Laredo and Limited models. Mine has been the only Overland and I had to get black since my wife wasn't convinced. I want to show her one in person and see her reaction so I can rub it in her face if she does like it 
Thanks I've seen the indigo in person just not with a black exterior...having trouble visualizing in my head..
I will try to borrow a camera to take pics as my phone is an antique.
Black exterioir works with any interior color. Usually all interiors are available with black exterior, and not the case with other exterior colors.
Sounds good thanks. I think the thing that bugs me is the indigo blue is so close to black I almost wish they would have just made it black, then I wouldn't have as much issue with the color paired with black exterior.
I'm pretty set on the black exterior and not a fan of the beige interior, so trying to decide with black interior and indigo interior.
This picture could not be further from the actual color of the indigo interior. Do NOT use this picture or any picture to make your decision. This is hands down the absolute WORST representation of indigo floating around on the forums.
Proof that pictures will not show the real color.
OP - make up your own mind ... but not until you see real thing with your own eyes. You may love it or hate it, but at least you'll know what you are deciding on.
