The front brake pads will need replacing in the near future and I have been quoted £136 or US$206 for a pair by the Jeep dealership in the UK. Even on my BMW the brake pads were not as expensive.
Are these brake pads gold plated? I prefer to use premium products, but at £136 they are having a laugh. A Google brings up many different brands, but the only one I recognised was Ferodo. Can any one recommend a premium brand where brake dust is minimal? Thanks.
It is a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD 3.0L.

Lucky you try a WK2 2012 CRD
My Australian Dealer quoted $270
That was back at 70,000km when I thought better check cost as everything on this vehicle is twice the price it should cost...
BUT I've now done 164,000 km on original set of pads so if you divide cost by Kilometres traveled not bad.
Would be on my second set in my Prado at these km
