My state law requires mounting front license plate. I hate the thought of having the front facia drilled with two monster holes for the plate at the dealership on prep time. Anyone has any ideas for drill-less mounting of the plate that is designed for the JGC?

I believe there is 4 bolts. The bottom 2 go into a fairly cheap piece ($138) and 10 minutes to get in and out. It's unpainted. It's takes probable another 30 minutes to swap the stuff that's mounted in it :)

This is the case on a limited without the advanced tech package.

I've seen setups with magnets. You order some very strong magnets and remove the front bumper and attach/glue them to the plastic on the inside. You then put some sort of felt or fabric on the back of the plate and the magnets hold it through the bumper.

If you are going to leave the plate on you will never see the holes, and the JEEP won't feel a thing. FYI - your Jeep has lots of other holes in it that you will never see.
