Some of you may recall I had a suspension issue with my Sept 2014 built GC where the nut at the bottom of the strut came off.

At around 1000km I started to hear another noise under the car, it is a knocking noise that is associated with acceleration, braking and occasionally hitting small bumps.

I got under the car and found that a bolt at the front LHS suspension mounting bracket was lose, please refer to the attached photo for the actual bolt. It is towards the rear of the bracket used to enforce the rear connection point of the front lower control arm.

It took around 1.5 complete turns until the bolt actually touches the bracket. Once I had tighten the bolt the noise is gone.

200sxr,

Thanks for this info, I have to get down and check mine because I am hearing the same in my GC Limited.
