Has anyone successfully had their dealer replace their non-flush fuel door? Seen a lot of posts where the dealers are basically saying "live with it." Just wondering if it's worth bringing up when I go in.
I agree with this course of action for any dealer that won't fix it. My fuel filler door isn't perfectly aligned but to me it's not so bad that I am worried about it. Now if people post some pics of what they are seeing I can compare mine to there's to see if I too need to talk to my dealer. If the dealers are just saying they can't fix it, I suggest everyone with the problem contact Jeep. Not that it will get you an immediate fix, but if there are enough incidents it might prompt them to at least look for a solution.
If the filler housings are defective, Jeep will need to take it up with the vendor.

I know the 14's have some electrical gremlins but now the vehicle can fix itself? It was the whole upper part of the door for me but it was worst at the hinge end. The weird thing is that since commenting on it a couple of weeks ago, the GC has been mainly sitting in the garage and when I got it out the other day, the fuel door was fitting perfectly flush, just like when I first picked it up in September, even though I haven't touched it.![]()
