Hey Guys,

I've been out of the forum for awhile as I got rid of my jeep. About to purchase another one as I miss mine a lot. Found one, wondering if you guys think it's a good deal. 08 Grand cherokee Laredo with the x package (navi, remote start, back up camera, leather, heated seats) with 112k miles on it. They are asking 13,980. I've been trying to work them down since I don't think it's worth it to pay that much for a car with 112k miles on it. Let me know what you think

112k is a lot of miles. But if there are no signs that it was beat up or off-roaded and it's relatively clean, i would go for it. Plus you're getting the little perks like remote start and a back-up camera which tend to make a big difference in the long run. All in all i would try to get them down a little, but if you have no success i think it's a fair price.

When I bought mine in 2011, it had 39669 on the odo. Paid 16-9 for it. Base laredo 2wd. Since then ive put over 8k into it making it "mine"

If you're anywhere near CT I'd be happy to let you take a look at mine if you're interested. '08 Laredo X package with 73k miles. (not sure if this is breaking any forum rules to be posting that in here...)

So one last question, I put my WK put for sale online over the weekend, it needs tires pretty bad. Should I put new tires to entice potential buyers or leave them as is? Thanks!

Id throw new ones on as a new buyer is less willing to buy if they need to drop money on tires right away. Nothing expensive tho.

I agree with the above, that a buyer isn't going to want to spend the time and money installing new tires.

What you could do to make your add stand out a little bit is admit to the tires being in need of replacement and let the potential buyer know you'll replace them with anything they want once they purchase it. This will give your potential buyer a sense of ownership from the start, and you can price your vehicle according to the higher priced tires...if they choose something cheap you have a little more wiggle room when negotiating.

May or may not be worth the hassle - if there are a lot of WKs around, it may make yours a little more appealing to some buyers.

My intention is to pick up a 2014 Grand Cherokee. I've had every generation of the GC so it seems like a natural progression. I just wish the option packages were better on the 14. Would like a Laredo but they no longer offer a back up camera on that model and I'm not convinced I want a limited.
