Guys

Just brought home my 2014 Black on Black Summit!!!

Very impressed so far. Drove 45 miles from dealer to my house. Will take some pics later.

I want to thank Jeep Garage, its members, and specially Mr. Milous! for all the information.

Thanks

Thanks guys,

I will upload pics ASAP, my daughters birthday is today and we are having a family party. I am also meeting a client at 10:00 am.

Went out last night, and the stereo is very impressive. need to adjust base. I did notice at the dealer, the right rear door molding was off about 1/2 inch. The sales man thought we left the door ajar. Pat took a picture with his Iphone and of my VIN number. he said he would email it to Jeep, get it ok'd and then they would fix it.

Also the front lower spoiler is granite color looking.

Promise I will take some good pics and upload tonight when the fam is gone.

Here is a better picture showing the molding
My finger is on the molding that is over the rear wheel well. The molding that is coming off is on the door.

I am loving the car so far. I got her with 9 miles, and have about 120 so far. The truck is solid, handles great. Uconnect is really cool, from what I have learned so far.

The V8 is very responsive, specially with the new 8 speed tranny. I have not pushed the engine at all, until I hit 500 miles. Pat asked me not to use the cruise control for the first 500 miles.

Seats are firm but comfy. My buddy just bought a 2013 ML 350 and the seats are almost the same. The longest drive I did so far is 35 miles from the dealer to my house, and the seats were very comfy.

The new front grill looks a lot better in person. Not sure if it is due to the car being black.

Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Thanks

LOL! That's the summit on my driveway next to my basketball hoop. The orange rod/pole is to lower/raise the hoop.

The summit is gorgeous! But the overland is just as beautiful, I would have bought the srt, if it wasn't close to 70K. the difference between the summit and overland was not that much in comparison. I have to say I am not crazy about the wheels. although not entirely chrome, I like the color of the overland wheel better. I am ok with the design of the wheel however.

will be tinting my front windows soon.

The molding is not latching to the door. Will have it fixed once the dealer calls me in. Dealer is aware of it.

I was starting to over think my decision of a black Summit but your pics have confirmed it is the right choice! :)
and these pictures were taken with my Iphone5, I need to get a SLR camera. The car looks so much better in person anyway from every angle.
