Here is a better picture showing the molding
My finger is on the molding that is over the rear wheel well. The molding that is coming off is on the door.

I am loving the car so far. I got her with 9 miles, and have about 120 so far. The truck is solid, handles great. Uconnect is really cool, from what I have learned so far.

The V8 is very responsive, specially with the new 8 speed tranny. I have not pushed the engine at all, until I hit 500 miles. Pat asked me not to use the cruise control for the first 500 miles.

Seats are firm but comfy. My buddy just bought a 2013 ML 350 and the seats are almost the same. The longest drive I did so far is 35 miles from the dealer to my house, and the seats were very comfy.

The new front grill looks a lot better in person. Not sure if it is due to the car being black.

Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Thanks

I'm just trying to figure out what the huge black pole with the smaller orange poll is in your front yard (basketball hoop + what?)...............

The new Summit looks really really great....has me tempted......hmmmmmm

I am jealous, waiting for my Summit to arrive.

Why is the molding off? Not a fan of this change and hope that it will wear well.

LOL! That's the summit on my driveway next to my basketball hoop. The orange rod/pole is to lower/raise the hoop.

The summit is gorgeous! But the overland is just as beautiful, I would have bought the srt, if it wasn't close to 70K. the difference between the summit and overland was not that much in comparison. I have to say I am not crazy about the wheels. although not entirely chrome, I like the color of the overland wheel better. I am ok with the design of the wheel however.

will be tinting my front windows soon.

The molding is not latching to the door. Will have it fixed once the dealer calls me in. Dealer is aware of it.

I was starting to over think my decision of a black Summit but your pics have confirmed it is the right choice! :)

and these pictures were taken with my Iphone5, I need to get a SLR camera. The car looks so much better in person anyway from every angle.

B/c of posts like this I am actually fearing picking up my wife's new Summit(which has not been built yet). Her current 2011 Overland has 43,000 miles on it and has been basically flawless since day one, other than the fact that the Bluetooth audio system blows.

I found with the Uconnect it has a lot more to do with the phone than the system itself. I had the Galaxy I and s*it tons of problems with it, now have the Galaxy III and it works awesome and very smooth with Uconnect 430/Nav.

I'm amazed and how much the new phone changed how it works with the system.
