Yeah, with this recall the theory goes that if the cruise control is active, and the computer calls for more torque and there is some kind of short circuit at the same time, the cruise control won't cancel with the foot brake or button. You have to select neutral and then stop. Its a very unlikely scenario, but could happen, so they have to fix it to avoid getting sued at some point int he future.
A half decent appraisal in my opinion, although the recall data is probably correct it's not what I've experienced and in my case i've had a dream run. Most recalls & TSB's being done at service intervals.
I know lots of Toyota & Holden owners who've also experienced their fair share of recalls too.
The mention of Apple's Carplay got me interested. I wonder if my 2015 Uconnect can be upgraded to it. I noticed too that on the EVIC that he had the tyres' pressures in PSI. Mine displays as BAR.

A horrible shock reading about the Nissan Terra. Seem Karla Leach has turned up as their media person. If memory serves me, she was the "communications" person at Jeep back in the bad days of 2012. She provided "communication" around the lack of recovery points and sand mode failures.
I see she says she specialises in "crisis management". Probably got that from her years at FCA
Seems a flight risk to me. Never stays in a job too long..... or is it that she is asked to leave?
The Lawrence family, from Newcastle in New South Wales, adored their 2013 Grand Cherokee - until they were met with exorbitant bills to fix its destroyed engine.
