Nice! Simple Sexy and to the point! How you like magnaflow I might switch over but NOT as loud as yours when I go to your shop to get my exhaust fixed

I like it bro, flows real well. Don't worry yours won't be as loud. Actually I'm thinking of going to a 22 in muffler because it's just too loud for my taste

You make alarms go off I'm actually about to YouTube and see the different sounds Jeff told me they flow better

Haha yeah. Magnaflow is the way to go. Question is whether you want a 14 in or an 18in?

I don't want my shit loud lol

Aight then 18in be the way to go. I recommend you cut off the y-pipe on the mids and then put in a dual in single out muffler

Seriously even with all the cuts and what not?

Won't I lose power?

I might need a connect for smogging lol

Yeah he charged me 50 with all the cuts. Nah you'll gain power since it'll flow better. It'll still pass smog since you aren't moving the cats.

So I'd like to review two items I have had. My OBX long tubes and my nitto terra grapplers

OBX longtubes: These headers are very nice, and extremely affordable. At a $500 entry point they are almost copies of the kooks headers, but a very good copy. The flanges at the head are decently thick and the welds look solid. They come with a set of resonators but those can easily be swapped out for cats. They have a very nice throaty sound to them. Highly recommended

Nitto terra grapplers: By far the best tire I have ever owned. They ride really smoothly and are actually surprisingly quiet for an all terrain tire. They work extremely well in loose traction situations such as snow and rain. Work very well in mud and sand as well. Behind my 6.4l even on hard launches they have great traction with a small chirp every now and then. Aesthetically they are aggressive looking. After about 30k miles they show minimal wear. I can easily see these tires lasting 60-75,000 miles. Also highly recommended.

What about you kickers?

Honestly I was thinking of replacing them with focal's. Actually I ended up only paying $20 for them once I sold my Boston's. Don't get me wrong they are great speakers for the $350 range but they can't compete with the clarity of a $1500 focal setup.

Well no 350$ set can compete witha 1500$ set lol. But they are great on a budget...

Ive been looking at focal and hertz too

Exactly. I haven't heard a set of hertz speakers yet tho

Ive been looking into getting myself some obx headers for my 5.7. I heard of some close calls down underneath for mostly 08+ Wks me having an 05 i think im in the clear but should be kinda tight. Did you have problems with rubbing and how much was install since being so close it should be around the same for me if you care to share.

Dont think ive told you before but its a great looking Jeep even if it hates you most of the time.

Go for it bud. It clears everything but your right it is kinda tight. The resonator is pretty close to the tranny pan but there is 3/4" of clearance which is enough. Install was $0 since I did it myself when I pulled the motor. The bolts are a PITA to get to and it is time consuming tho. From what I've been reading on the forums people pay around $800 for the install tho.

And thanks man! That's why I still have it lol

800... might take a weekend and do it myself and just drive it to a shop for a custom Y pipe and reuse my cats. I have this annoying exhaust sound when im next to something like the million of barriers on the highways here. I figure i have a hole or something wrong with it or might bent the flanges when i did my cat back. I take it going without cats here in Cali you have a hook up for smog? Lol

Yup that'd be the way to go. Instead of doing a y pipe I went with a magnaflow dual in single out muffler. Actually longtubes may make that sound worse. The cast iron manifolds actually deaden engine sound quite a bit which the headers will kind of pronounce. I know a place but it's expensive, however Alex might. I haven't had to have had a smog done yet.

I know a shop that will do the job but you get what you pay for I will most likely have to get my welds redone. It sounds like my problem is sleeps problem next to another car or against a barrier sounds like a hole bubbling I hate that shit so I'm taking it to another shop.

No bro we are talking about a smog hookup shop not a muffler shop

Lol. When i was in Tennessee, my buddy as a joke tried to rat me out to some cops how i didnt have cats on my jeep. Loved their response. "We dont care. As long as its not too loud we could care less." Then i started it. They was impressed that sound was from a V6 lol.

Wow what a douche

Oh I was talking about my muffler to Jeff. Also yes but it's a pretty penny as well

I have heard some sketchy things about those dicey smog shops tho. Like you'll drop your nice car off with them and next thing you know the car is gone and so is the shop!
