I figured I would do a quick write up just to show how easy it really is to upgrade the look of your front end! Here is the before pic of the front

To remove the grille insert just remove the 4 screws on top of the grille and the 3 in the front and pull the grille away from the support (just not to hard to break it) Then while holding the grille surround forward, push the grille insert back toward the support until it pops loose and then you can finagle it out.

Then just slide in the grille insert you have. I bought one off ebay for around $70 and had it powder coated black for $25. There is a pic of the insert so you can see the basic size.

Then just put the 4 screws back in the top. Note that i cut off the front mounting tabs to get a cleaner look once the grille is installed.

And there you go, in about 15-20 min you can freshen up your front end and give a clean look!

Looks good! Did you do the bottom too? I did and it makes it look even better.

Hubba effin' Bubba.

I was able to find a place or two to zip tie mine down. There was extra mesh too that I bent and formed around whatever was nearby to keep it from moving. It's been like that for almost a year now with no issues.

You don't really need anything to hold it in place. But you can zip tie or and/or bend the mesh around whatever's close to it. I don;t have anything at all holding mine in and it doesn't move at all.

It's a pretty easy and cheap way to make it look better. Got the insert for about $70 and powder coated for $20 (got an awesome deal) and took maybe 15 min to install
