Yeah, no SRTs has been delivered to customers yet - perhaps one but I don't think so. A couple have been delivered to the step before dealer - but i don't think a dealer has one yet for their customer.

Seems to be normal for the estimated delivery date to take two reschedules before final delivery. I was scheduled for 04/04 originally, then moved to 04/11 and now it's 04/15 until mine arrives. So if it arrives on Monday the 15th, i'll be posting a great deal of photos here when it comes.

By then, I suspect at least 5 to 10 others have received theirs. It's all happening, finally!

No need to wait for a "break in period". The best running engines are broke in hard. You need to seat the ringlands against the cylinder walls and that happens with cylinder pressure, AKA full throttle! Start banging out some 0-60s! Anyways the most crucial part of engine break in is the first few miles.

Listening to you, a lot of people are going to trash their engines. :slapfight:

The SRT manual would disagree with you, as would the SRT technicians. I asked this exact question, they said that yes, the 6.4 *does* require a break in period.

500 miles / 800 kms is what they suggest, and pretty much every SRT manual says the same thing. If this was a Lambo or Ferrari, then i agree with you as they're run hard before we get them - but the 6.4 Hemi is not one of those engines.
