Could anyone recommend a way to clean the headlights of a WK. Mine are getting like a white cloudy look at the top of the light, it won't wash off. I know they sell those headlight cleaning kits with the sandpaper and stuff, but I'd rather avoid sandpaper, is there any other ways to make them look new again?

Just buy a plastic polish at any store that sells auto wax.

It is wet sanding that you may need to do. I have done it (not on my commander because I use plastic wax on it as a preventative thing) on my other car and it works really well.

Buying new headlights works.

The wet sanding is no big deal, but there are kits that don't use it--however you do need a couple grades of grit, one to remove the crud CAREFULLY and one or two to polish it up afterwards.

Make sure you use a couple layers of masking tape around the area, or even better a plastic mask, as the power type kits can go thru masking tape rather quickly.

I would try a kit without sandpaper first then if that does not work go to sandpaper.
