1st time owner...2014 GCL....have to do the software update, but does that fix crackling speakers? I tend to get it when in XM mode, but not when streaming music from my phone....bizarre...Can barely go above 20 volume before I hear crackling.

If the software update does not fix the problem with the crackling speakers when you are listing to SirusXm, then bring the GC into the dealer for them to check all connections for the SAT. Make sure they check the antenna, the SirusXM module and even the uConnect. You are under warranty.

Do you get any crackling for the HD tuner or any other sources besides streaming music? Even the voice directions from the navi.
