I cannot believe this issue has been going on for so long without being fixed.
I picked up my 2017 Durango in April & my favorites have never stayed more than 1 day. My dealer told me they never heard of that happening. I left it with them for a day and when I picked it up they said they could not duplicate the problem. I was able to show them in less than 3 minutes. So they told me I probably need an update. I did that update but it didn’t fix it nor did any of the other updates. Surprise?? No!! Then they said I needed to replace my radio, which was replaced. That did not resolve the problem. Then they said it had to be my phone-not that either.
For the money I’ve paid for my 2017 Durango with the U-Connect system/service & my subscription Renewal-I should be able to use the U-Connect system in its entirety. I am so frustrated and annoyed that I’ve spent a lot of time and money on this and it has not been fixed.
Why hasn’t Dodge/U-Connect resolved this ONGOING problem? Why is it taking so long to fix? This is beyond Ridiculous!
Since Dodge/U-Connect has NOT resolved this problem nor have they provided the services I/we’ve paid for, they should:
1). Provide the U-Connect services, Updates (MAP updates too) & Subscriptions for FREE
2). REFUND the money (I/we’ve) paid for the U-Connect services & subscriptions
3). FIX this ONGOING problem.
4). Update the U-Connect technology
No one should pay for the U-Connect services if they are not able to use them especially when it’s due to U-Connect’s inability to fix this ongoing issue in a timely matter!!
I’m still having this issue. 17 Durango GT. They just released an update. I installed in via usb. I have my contacts from my phone, but when I add them as favorite to appear at the top of the phone tab, they last until my wife’s phone is the only phone in the car. When I re enter the car and my phone is the is the only one then I don’t have my favorites. My wife doesn’t even bother entering hers.
