Hi all
Having a bit of trouble with my 05 jeep grandcherokee
The exhaust is getting very hot all the way to the tail pipe
I have just spoke to my local dealer and they have told me
This is a common problem.
I was wondering if anyone elts was having the same problem
or heard of it
Any help would be appreciated

Did they offer anything useful like checking to see if the cat convertor is having troubles?

You might want to post your engine and drivetrain and mileage...
... and if this is something new or may have been that way for a long time and you just never noticed.

On a long drive, the exhaust clear at the end of the pipe can get hot enough to burn you.

Is it getting much hotter than that, to where it is discoloring something?

No advice was given
It gets hot enough to burn you even on a short drive iv only just noticed it
It's a 2.6 auto mileage is around 48
