[Tree Breaker Bob]

Hi

This high pitched noise is not there when first starting up but after driving a short distance (10 k's) then its quite audible coming from under the left side near the front passenger door with the vehicle stationary. First noticed it after backing in to my driveway

The vehicle is a MY13 5 speed auto has only 15,000 k's on it and the noise started just recently

Booked in for the jeep techs on Monday, so we will see what they say

It could be the fuel pump, I notice ours has this noise and much more noticeable since I fitted the fuel tank bash plates

Mine does have QL and AP11 so has bash plates under fuel tanks and the jeep mechanic at the dealer first said could be the fuel pump, but it didn't make a noise until just recently

I do tow a 2.3 tonne caravan occasionally and I first noticed this noise after backing the caravan in the driveway
