Went to autobell the other day for an exterior carwash. Got back home and when I locked the jeep I heard the horn, if you can even call it that. A very weak sound. If you were driving beside me and I honked the horn you probably wouldn't even hear it..

A week later its still not sounding right.

I tried searching the web, couldn't find anything. Not sure where to start troubleshooting. Any ideas guys?

The horns are hard to get to, both are between the grille and radiator. But the connections do seem intact. I pulled the fuses to see if they are still good and was able to narrow it down to the right horn. It does produce a sound, but very muffled. I can put my ear directly to it. The fuse explanation is backwards in my jeep. The fuse for the left horn is actually the fuse for the right.

Looks like I need to remove the grille, which I think includes removal of the bumper for further inspection/replacement.

You may know this, but I realize that quite a few folks on the forum don't, so I'll mention it.

The driver's side (in LHD vehicles) is the left side and the passenger side is the right. In other words, left and right is determined from a position sitting in the car, not facing it.
